Launch Readiness Checker - Chrome Extension

Last updated: February 3, 2026

Overview

Launch Readiness Checker is a browser extension that analyzes web pages for launch readiness. This privacy policy explains how we handle information.

Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

The extension operates entirely locally in your browser. All page analysis is performed on your device, and no information is sent to our servers or any third parties.

What the Extension Does

When you use Launch Readiness Checker, it:

  1. Analyzes the current page - Reads HTML content, meta tags, and page structure of the active tab when you click the extension icon
  2. Checks public DNS records - Queries public DNS services (Cloudflare DNS) to verify email authentication records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  3. Checks SSL certificates - Queries public certificate transparency logs (crt.sh) to verify SSL certificate status
  4. Fetches public files - Requests robots.txt and sitemap.xml directly from the website being analyzed
  5. Checks domain history - Queries the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine API for domain age information

All of these operations:

  • Are performed directly from your browser
  • Do not pass through our servers
  • Do not store any data persistently
  • Are only triggered when you actively use the extension

  • Internet Archive - for domain age checks

These services have their own privacy policies. We do not control how they handle requests.
